Yay! Treat Receipts are back!
Funny, Barista Joe was just thinking about this, as I sat down to do some work on the Interweb at a Naperville, Illinois St.Arbucks. And just like that, Treat Receipts are back today!
If you recall, Treat Receipts are nicely colored receipts that get stamped with “Treat Receipt” (natch) that allow you to come back after 2pm and get a Grande cold drink for just $2+tax.
This year, it runs June 30th through September 28th so get started!
Starbucks Launches Mini Cards
Definitely one of the better ideas to come out of MyStarbucksIdea, on Tuesday you will be able to get a mini Starbucks card to make it easier to swap your cold hard cash for a wonderful coffee drink, lemon loaf, etc.
The only unfortunate thing is that if you are a holder of the Starbucks Gold Card, you still have to carry that card as well, since there’s no way to associate your status with the lowly “regular” card.
But, it’s a start.
Grounds for Closure: Starbucks Shut for Fly Infestation
And it’s about time. Barista Joe frequents the O’Hare airport, so it’s no surprise that a 
Starbucks Coffee shop there was shut down due to a little problem with flies.
Does Starbucks think Indianapolis and Jacksonville are too cheap to buy coffee at the regular price?
